Happy 40th

Happy 40th Anniversary to my parents. Many people can't say that anymore. 40 years is a LONGGGGGGGG time. They renewed their vows today at church...a tear jerker. We had dinner at church after and it was just a really nice day (despite the rain...BUT they say it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day).

Amish Bread

My boss gave me some of this bread w/directions. I myself anm unsure about it. on the 5th day or so you add MILK and leave it out? UH....doesn't sound healthy to me. I'll admit I'm a bit scared of this bread

Space Camp

I had to go to training Tuesday...from 9-8. We went to the Challenger Learning Center for team work training. It was pretty cool. We had to perform task in a simulated space craft and mission control. I was in charge of the REM station. I had to deal w/bugs, plants, and meteoroids..right up my alley.
We did a questionnaire to decide personality...I'm an Astronaut and it fit me to a T. My Boss is a space station. Her Assistant is a Rocket ship.
The Company treated us to Ozzie's after. The guy at the end of our table was a RIOT. He ordered 3 appetizers. I had a drink and it was YUMMY:)
It was a LONG day though.
Spring Break starts today..5 days off..YAY:) I slept an extra hour that was needed. I have family DRAMA AGAIN. I'm trying to behave via my mother's request...it's just so hard. I have raging PMS and i get provoked pretty easily when it comes to my parents. I'll clean all day to keep my mind off of it...or try to at least.
I haven't posted any pics in awhile so I'll share my lil photo shoot w/the kids.

Good use for newspaper

Since Spring has sprung....it's yard time. I have a good use for newspaper....for a green weed barrier. Use wet newspaper instead of plastic. Simply wet the newspaper and put it down in layers. Cover w/mulch and forgetta bout' the weeds. Weeds will get through some garden plastic...they will not get through wet newspaper.

Leftover snicker bars

Leftover snicker bars (from various Holidays..thought this would be good w/leftover Easter candy) make a delicious dessert. Simply chop them up in a food chopper or a baggie and rolling pin. Peel, core, and slice a few apples or be me and open a can of apples. Place in baking dish and sprinkle the chopped candy bars on top. Bake at 350degrees for 15 minutes. Serve alone or w/a little vanilla ice cream...YUMMY for your Tummy
